December 30, 2004
Well, tomorrow is New Years Eve. Looking back on the last year, I'm thinking the straw that broke my camel's back was Johnny Ramone's death. I know there's been lots of tragedy in the world - and I feel bad about it all - believe me. But John's death leaves me hollow. I know people who think, "geez, he's a rock star, rock stars die, sorry!". And that's fine. Because it's true. But to me, well, I put all my faith and hope into The Ramones many years ago. As did countless others. To many of us, it wasn't just rockn'roll, it was a religion. Sure, you can call it a cult. I suppose we were just like "the deadheads". Except we followed The Ramones. Who bascially preached the same thing..."peace and love one another" - but they also made us laugh! Which was wonderful. Now that Joey, Dee Dee, and Johnny, the original 3 guys who created something so much bigger themselves are gone, I'm just feeling that a big part of MY world is gone. Not others. Mine. As anyone can read from this site, I was also friends with these guys. But in my mind, they were so much more than that. Not having great parental role models for most of my youth, these guys became it. My mentors. My parents, if you will. I tried to follow in their footsteps and live like them. Rightly or wrongly, I found an identity in them that I applied to myself. up until this very moment. And beyond. They were MY role models. Now they are dead, like my parents. I suppose the intellectucal thing to be learned from all of this is that we should follow our own paths, believe in ourselves, or choose a higher being that's not able to be destroyed because it's human. But emotionly, that's a bitter pill to swallow. It's because John, Joey and Dee Dee were human, and did make mistakes. And to me, to anyone - that's what made them great. They held it together through thick and thin, through good times and bad, and were still able to present a happy face to the world. And that face drew people around the globe together. What saddens me is stuff like that Ramones movie, "End Of The Century", which shows a lot of the band's tension. While it's all true, like I said, The Ramones were a lot bigger than the sum of their parts. They provided a safe haven for myself and others. They gave us HOPE even when they didn't have any left themselves. To me, that's the most selfless act anyone could perform. And if you really think about that, then maybe it's a little key to a lock in all of us that speaks volumes of truth - even if it remains unsaid.
Peace into 2005

December 29, 2004
Just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year now if I don't get the chance on Friday/Saturday. So everyone please have a safe and fun 2004/2005 night! Yay! Sorry this is so early, but to quote Devo, "I've got a gut feeling..."

December 19, 2004
Just found this picture at the CBGB website. It's Iron Prostate circa 1991-1992? Bring Me The Head Of Jerry Garcia!

Okay, still a bit under the weather...but this disease thing is clearing up. Which is good. Finally. I guess things happen for a reason....and sometimes I forget that. While I was sick, I got to finish the first manuscript for my second book for Soft Skull, which, I think, kicks ass. Then, today, I got the phone call I've been waiting for about a possible new job here in Phoenix. Things are looking good, and expect a nice announcement soon. Meanwhile, I gotta get outta the house (been in my sweatpants for over a month, feel like James Cann in Misery) so I better get totally better soon. Anyway, Happy Holidays to everyone, and I'm up to Los Ventures in GTA: San Andreas - most likely the best video game I've ever played. While it starts slow..the story gets AMAZING. Oh, my CJ looks like MR. T! Anyway, again, sorry to be outta touch...but I will and must recover..fun things await!

Sorry to be outta touch with everyone, especially my pals here in Phoenix. I've been fucking sick with this stupid old man disease that keeps between the computer and The PlayStation 2 with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in it. And, oh, The Urbs, on the GameBoy Advance. I did, however, puke today in Safeway (my first trip outta the house), so it's a start!

November 29, 2004
Guess which is band is playing Continental in NYC on Saturday, January 7th, at 10 pm? Oh, wrote a great gift guide video game thing here!

November 22, 2004
So, okay, I've been sick for quite a while. But the good thing is I got to play through the entire game of Halo 2 (pictured above). That Needle Gun kicks some serious ass. Now I'm doing the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas thing. And some Urbz on the gba. Punk rock. Check out THIS - an oldy but goody. Someone sent me the link. I forgot about that one! Anyway, happy almost Turkey Day to everyone, and Gobble Gobble Hey!

November 11, 2004
Sorry for the lack of updates. Been in and out of the hospital with yet ANOTHER old man disease. As we titled the Iron Prostate album "Loud, Fast, & Aging Rapidly" all those years ago, well, it's true. I mean, I've had an enlarged prostate since 18. Ulcers at 19. Fucked up spine at 27. Vision as swell as an 80 year olds since as long as I can remember. But, hey, I look fine, and that's what counts! But you should see the picture portrait hanging in my closet. Doh! Anyway, more updates soon. Thanks to Dr. Scooter, M.D. (pictured above) for his brand of pain meds, and to Nurse Wendy, who is doing great. But I want her to wear that white suit with the hat, darn it!

November 1, 2004
Above is me and The Scoots, along with our pal Sean at this weekend's Pow Wow in Mesa. Okay, everyone vote tomorrow. Or don't. While I'm not crazy about Kerry, maybe it's just because he's too polite and plays the game too well. I shouldn't hold that against him, but I liked the passion in Howard Dean a lot more. But his wife sucked. I'd like to see Kerry get in office, just to see Bush out, but the whole Skull & Bones thing does throw me for a loop. I believe in enough conspiracy theories already. Anyway, I just hope like hell Kerry defends Isreal and tries to work out some real peace over there like Clinton was doing. But, if, Bush is re-elected, we might have the 1960's all over again. And that's not such a bad thing. Time to wake up.

October 25, 2004
Okay, just got a review in The Jewish Journal, and it's really good. Like they think I'm a real writer or something. Also got one in The School Library Journal! Geez, you'd think I was almost becomming, well, respectable. Don't fear, I've wasted the entire past weekend playing the new Mortal Kombat game, "Deception". Second verse, same as the first. Also, with one week to the erection, errr, election, I'm just waiting for Bush's big trick. I see all these college kids with signs PRO-BUSH/CHENEY. What the fuck? Have fun when you get drafted....

October 14, 2004
Just finished kicking Boktai's ass on the GameBoy Advance. Only 30 + hours to beat it. The sun was in my hand. Yes, I need a life. Oh, I can't stop listening to the new Dwarves album. It's a masterpiece of punk!

October 3, 2004
If you are in New York City on October 17th, this is the show of the year. Not only are my favorite existing band, The Dwarves, playing, but so are Dean Dean And The Sex Machines, and the all mighty Candy Snatchers! Go! It'll be a massacre! Oh, and thanks to our new pal, Jeff at Reader's Oasis in Tuscon! Dood, you rule!

September 24, 2004
First of all, thanks to EVERYONE who came out last night to my reading in Tempe. You guys rule!!!! As Tyler, my pal from New York, pointed out, it got me outta the house! So thank you all once again! I love this place! Oh, above is a screen shot from The Sims 2, my friend Sarah did. Wendy and I are her virtual neighbors! EA has been coming out with some really great games lately, including The Sims 2, and Burnout 3: Takedown, the best racing game I've ever played! Punk Rock!

September 22, 2004
The Phoenix New Times' Michelle Laudig did a WONDERFUL story! Check it out here!

September 16, 2004
John Cummings (aka Johnny Ramone) just passed away. The sadness I feel, not only for John and his family, but for Ramones friends worldwide is like a gaping wound. With Joey, Dee Dee and Johnny now gone, the holy trinity of punk has moved to another level of being. Each guy was my friend, but more than that, gave me a purpose in life, and something to believe in. For that, I'll forever be greatful. John was honest beyond words, and could be the nicest guy in the world. I hope now that the three original Ramones are in heaven, they can find it in themselves not only to forgive one another, but themselves as well. R..I.P.

September 7th, 2004
I swear, updated news soon, but click here for birthday fun!

September 4, 2004
It's Scooter's Birthday! Happy Birthday! (Lots of news updates to come early next week - just stressing at this point about stuff, but it should all work out!)

August 30, 2004
Oh, the dog days of summer. Scooter had fun when his friend Allyson visited. He also would like to make it known that his birthday is September 4th. Happy almost birthday, Scooter!

"You will drink the black sperm of my vengence." - Z man/Super woman

August 19, 2004
Been getting a lot of letters lately about why I moved away from New York. Check the "dust" section on my homepage, or better yet, click here for a pdf all about how The Bush Administration fucked everyone - and how New York City is still in denial. Of course the fuckin' terrorists deserve lots of blame - but what our government did was unexcusable. In the mighty words of SNFU, "I Hate To Say I Told You So!"

August 10, 2004
Holy Cripes! The Greenwich Time reviewed my book! Yay!!! Doom 3 is out for PC, but I'm waitin' for the Xbox version. So I'm playing Doom 2 on my GameBoy Advance. I got a copy of the game from Ebay. The cartridge says "Nintondo" on the back. Bootleg! I guess what else can I expect from Hong Kong!Oh, find me on myspace, mkay? I'm under the name "George Tabb". Duh.

August 1, 2004
Been playing Spiderman 2 for the PlayStation 2 and love it to death! It's like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, but you get to swing all around New York City, and even to Roosevelt Island. I'm up to the part with the fight with Doc Ock on the train, and I can easily say this game rules. I've dreamed for years of being Spiderman - probably back to the late sixties, and this game makes me feel like my favorite webslinger. Ignore the reviews...if you are a Spidey fan - this is as close as you are gonna get to living out a fantasy. Plus, Ms. Dunst did a voice over for M-J, so she rules, besides the plug she did for my book! Anyway, I don't want this game to ever end! And that's saying something! Also, check out my reviews section for new and great reviews from the kind of folks I have always loved. The ones who are just like us. Infact, they are us. It feels great to be admired by your peers and friends. Means a hell of a lot more than some schuck who HAS to review it for some deadline or something. Have I mentioned I LOVE the punk rock? Funny story - when I first approached Soft Skull with the book, I wanted to play down the punk rock. They convinced me otherwise - and they were so right. Your friends are your friends, and new ones can be made all the time. But those who have stayed with you over the years are your true pals. And the new ones you meet along the way just make life all that much better! Tonight I checked out some of the roller derby stuff going on around town, and just wanna say thanks to Sue Nami, Hadda Bad Day, and all the other swell folks I met, as well as some really wonderful people from The New Times. You know something? This town rocks! I wouldn't trade moving here to anywhere else in The United States. The people are honest and sweet - and lemme tell you something, this is the next IT town. Like it or not. So if you want to be a part of something really big and artistic and creative and fun, get your asses here. Now!
July 23, 2004
Above are pictures from my friend Mickey's birthday party in NYC last week taken by Kitty Kowalski! The one of the left is of John Holmstrom of Punk Magazine and some guy with their invites! The other is of Mickey Leigh and some guy. Charlotte (Mickey and Joey Ramone's mom) was kind enough to invite me, so, I was like there, dood! A great time was had by all!

July 21, 2004
Wanna get high? I think better when I'm high!

July 16, 2004
Check out Interpunk for some cool new merch they came up with! Yay! Just got back from NYC......it was lots of fun and it was great seeing everyone! And again, Happy Birthday Mickey! And thanks to Eidos! Woo Hoo! Also check out this cool interview!

July 12, 2004
Quick news: Gonna be in NYC the 14th and 15th...Wednesday and Thursday of this week! If there is anything good going on...you know how to contact me! In other news, I've been reading my own "blog" if you can call it that, and think, ick! A lot of people like to write about themselves. I guess I do too. I mean, just look at my book. Anyway, I wanna write real quick about other people who I have seen recently who I think rule. Besides Scooter and Wendy, of course. John Strausbaugh, for one. He rules. Smart, funny, and sincere. Then there was my pal Marc Rentzer I saw in Brooklyn when there..he used to be in Letch Patrol and Iron Prostate with me. He rules, too. As does Handsome Dennis Sanders, my old buddy from "The Joy Of Movement" days! Then there's all the great people I met on the book tour, plus, James in The Dropkick Murphy's, and Sue Blank, & The Gamp!! And let's not forget my best buddies, Nicky and Booker Smith. Booker kicked my ass in basketball, and Nicky is the next Oliver Stone/Quinten Tarintino/Sam Rami. I'm not kidding. Their parents are pretty swell as well. Finally, there are tons of cool people out here in Arizona. From my pals Don and Brian and Scene and Gary (or is it Greg?) at The Emerold Lounge, to the nice folks I've met like Preston, Shara, Danielle, Simon , The Wrongsiders and everyone else I'm too wasted to remember at the moment. Life is too short to go around angry all the time. This is something I wish I had learned years ago. But through the joys of writing and therapy - I've come to learn this. Better late than never. But don't worry, I ain't no fuckin' hippie. My hair is short, shorts are for pussies, sandals and flip-flops suck, and showers rule. Punk Rock!

July 6, 2004
Been getting tons of email from you great folks who got my book! Thank you so much! One of the main questions is: Who are "Davey and Goliath"? The answer: They were like "Gumby" only on Sunday mornings, and the show was sponsered by The Lex Lutherans or The Preppyterians or something like that. Whoever did the show was amazing. Great fun, great stories, and great morals. Dare I say it was Punk Rock? Click HERE for the actual intro from the first season! Dang! I love that tune! Oh, new book tour info to come real soon - and - although it sounds insane, I'm dissapointed Kerry didn't pick Hillary Clinton to be his running mate. Whatever her agenda, it would push women's rights, and, HUMAN rights, to the forefront of the Amercian psyche. I like Edwards though, I just can't help but feel this is like Gore/Leiberman and Duca-ca/whoever all over again. Weak. But who knows - maybe Lurch will get the party going. He should have Pink do his theme song!

July 4, 2004
Happy Fourth to everyone, and may you have great BBQs, see lots of safe explosions, and drink till it hurts!

June 29, 2004
Most anyone who follows my favorite band, and good friends, The Ramones, probably now knows that John Cummings (Johnny Ramone) is sick. You can read about it here. Anyway, losing Joey and Dee Dee was horrible - and I'm praying, yes praying, for John. Yesterday I spoke with Joey's mom on the phone, and it just reminded me of the whole thing. These people have not only been my heroes, but over the years, my very good friends. The fact that these guys, world famous and all that, took time to even talk to me, nevermind hangout, offer me jobs, and work with me, has made me happy forever. As you can guess, the 9/11 nightmares are starting up again, only now involving The Ramones. For those of you who understand - bless you. For those of you who only think of these guys as a band - well, in a way, I envy you. Johnny Ramone said at The Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame, "God Bless George Bush". Let me tell you something, it's George Bush who should be saying "God Bless The Ramones."

June 25, 2004

Just got back to Phoenix from the book tour. Lots of stuff about it to come, but first I gotta unwind. 1200 miles in like 5 days was too much for an old geezer like me. Espeically hungover every day. Got another review today for the book on Corporate Mofo! Click HERE to read it! Oh, forgot to mention the first one from my pal Jim Knipfel HERE. Yay! Also, the tour dates are firming up nicely - and Jagermeister and Budweiser don't mix well. Kinda like guests and fish. For me, they both stink after 3 seconds!

April 9, 2004
Lips!
Just talked to the kind folks at Soft Skull. Looks like the book will be out a few weeks later than thought. Such is the punk rock! Meanwhile, I made the mistake of watching some of that Condi Rice crap on the TV. I immediately put "Ratchet & Clank 2: Going Commando" in my PlayStation2 and started to blow the shit outta stuff. Everyone is just trying to cover their ass. What else is new? Fuck that shit. Meanwhile, went out to the movies for the first time in like 6 months. Saw the remake of "Dawn Of The Dead". Not as funny as the first, in any way, but cool none-the-less. Scary and exciting. Just make sure to leave before the end titles...which just about ruin the story. Oh, and to my new best friend, The Emerold Lounge, you go!

April 2, 2004
Just beat "Everything Or Nothing", the new James Bond game from EA. Although it was on the Xbox, it was very enjoyable. Fun. The graphics are amazing and the motorcycle racing is much like Road Rash. Fuckin' fun! Other than that, just started "The Suffering" from Midway and been working on getting the book out. It's pouring out and I'm sore from taking a yoga class yesterday. I'm such a puss. Oh, just reconnected with some old friends in NYC via email. It feels nice to be back in touch. Really nice.

March 28, 2004
As the release date for the book draws closer - I've been updating this here website. Check out my new Bio page by clicking HERE. It's not like I want to list all this crap - but I was looking at other writer's pages, and they did it, so I figured that's what Im supposed to do. Of course I left out a hell of a lot of stuff. But who cares. Anyway, things around here lately have gone to the dogs. Litteraly. This weekend we've got Scoots and Hudson Pepper. Last weekend, we had The Scoots, Hudson Pepper and Tigi. It's been really fun. Especially watching Wendy run around yelling at them to stop fighting or tearing stuff up. Me? I just sit on the couch with the remote and tune it all out. Except to smile a bit. It's my way of practicing to be a real father one day.

March 20, 2004
Yay! Above is the latest version of the book cover. It goes to print next week! Woo Hoo! Anyway, thanks to all those who made it possible - you know who you are. Also, thanks to Tim Yohannon (R.I.P.) and J.R. Taylor - for really helping me get my writing "career" going! There are plenty of new thanks...and those are comming soon. But most of all, thanks to Wendy for ALWAYS believing in this project. From day one.

March 18, 2004
and hear what Tigi (pictured above) has to say to The Scoots, dawg!!!!

March 15, 2004
Scooter would like it to be known that his pal, Hudson, shall now be referred to as "Pepper". He would also like it known that he will be baby sitting his girlfriend Tigi this coming weekend. He also congraduatles his Godfather on what he hears was an excellent reading in New York last night. The last thing he'd like everyone to know is if Tigi changes her name, it better be to "Mrs. Scooter".

March 12, 2004
Just finished the second ad that's gonna run soon in Maximumrocknroll! Woo Hoo! Things are heating up with the book and hopefully this weekend we'll do lots of proof-reading and checking for speling and grammir and stuff! Other than that, workiing on booking the tour with Ammi over at Soft Skull who rules! Hey, if ya wanna help out with some dates in the North East, or perhaps, midwest, email me. We're looking for people who know cool book stores in their towns we can visit and do readings at. Oh..and don't forget the after parties! Woo Hoo!

Also, couldn't resist putting up this picture. It's Hudson, Wendy's mom's new puppy, taking the Scoots for a walk! The love to play together, and one day we're thinking what with Tigi (Scooter's girlfriend) and Hudson, we'll just open up our place as "New Yorkie Day Care"! It'll be a zoo! Yay!

March 10, 2004
Okay...I can't figure something out. My Amazon number was around 28,000 last week, and this week it's around 590,000. That's more than a half a million number jump in like 7 days? WTF? Anyway, please pre-order the book - even my mom, pictured above, would have wanted you too! In fact, she's the one who actually inspired me to write a book in the first place. I always wanted to be a Ramone, or something close. She said, "One day, George, you are going to write the great American book!" I, of course, nodded my head, and drank just drank more of the Molson's Golden she got for me at the supermarket, Sloan's, on West 4th Street. So buy the dang book! For my mother! Also - we spent the weekend with Hudson - who now acts like Scooter's little brother. Pictures really soon....

March 4, 2004
A Dog's Tale!
Although Scooter likes to play ruff with new girlfriend Tigi, it always ends with hugs and licks. Thanks to Dylan for the fantastic photos! *Oh, and Happy Birthdays to The Seths!*

March 2, 2004
Just a quick plug here for my pal Karl, and his cool t-shirts. Check out his site HERE. Karl has been helping me plug my book on My Space dot Com. Karl's shirts are cool..and he's a D.I.Y.dood! So order his stuff! Yay!

February 29, 2004
Just a quick "Thank You" to a few people who wrote me REALLY nice letters about my last post here. You know who you are and rule! Thanks! As you can tell from the picture above, I'm playing Metroid: Zero Mission. Actually, just finished it. Short, but amazing game for the GBA. I've just started Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox and am blown away. Other than that, thanks to everyone who has joined the message board and those who posted there. Instead of some depressing shit like I wrote a few days ago...I'll post some fun links for games online! You guys go!

February 26, 2004
Okay, let me try and explain something. Lots of people are kinda pissed at me for "not going out" or "not calling them" or "not visiting them", and even "not answering the phone". And all I can say is they are right. I'm kinda isolated these days. But please understand it's got nothing to do with anyone but me. And the events of September 11th. I think that now I'm out of NYC, I am finally getting to my PTSD. Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. While there, I still felt as if we were gonna be bombed/gassed/killed at any moment. Still do when I visit. Anyway, here I feel a lot safer...but my dreams take me back to NYC and the horrors of that event, and the government cover-up afterwards. It's a lot to digest, and sometimes I still feel like I'm fighting a windmill. But I will get over it, and be more social soon, I hope. I read in a few different places that part of PTSD is "isolation". Yup, they got that right. When people call, I'm afraid to talk to them....it's like they'll hear the fear in my voice....which I can hide by email. Also...I dunno...it just seems like everyone turned on me after 9/11, not believing what I had to say. Well, some did, and other thought I was off my rocker. Of course I probably was - but the facts are the facts. Anyway, I hope to rid myself of this hermit lifestyle soon and get out and about. Actually, I'll have to, due to the book tour. I also miss my local friends here, especially Brian at the Emerald - and my other pals there. I hope to see you all soon. Once again, it's nothing personal that I don't answer the phone - it just freaks me out.

February 25, 2004
Who is that strapping young lad in the photos above? None other than Hudson, the newest member of our extended family. Wendy's brother, actually. Scooter's Uncle. Even if he is just 10 weeks old! Hudson now weighs 3.8 pounds, is very very very very cute and highly intelligent. So much so he's even ordered my book here. Hudson has THAT look in his eyes. The one that says, "I'm the boss, I just let you think you are!" and he's a total cutie. We love the little guy and Scooter does as well. Ain't life grand? It's spring around here..time to start new. Yay!

See that sad look on Scooter's face? He wants you to pre-order the book, now. His dad's Amazon numbers are slipping quickly. So cheer up this dog and pre-order right away. If already have, make your friends do it. Send out a mass e-mail. Please help me keep this momentum going. Otherwise it's no steak for Scooter (threats, threats)! Meanwhile, just pick up Metroid Zero Mission for the GBA. So far so good. But it does seem to have some bugs (ha!). Really. Had to start over. Also as you can see, there is a new MESSAGE BOARD on the site now! Thanks Sarah!

Well, I did it. Finally. No, not get the book out yet. No, didn't record another album. Something so much more important. Something I thought I could never do. Some that took me over 50 hours. What is it? I beat "Mario & Luigi Superstar" for the GameBoy Advance. And was it worth it? You bet!!!! Although I'll never have those 50 hours again, I got to fight of that evil fucking turtle who tried to mess with Princess Peach. The final boss drove me nuts for three days. For all of you who know what I'm talking about, get the Queen B pants in the fashion shop in mushroom village before you try to take out that bastard Koopa. And thanks to Jonnie Whoa Oh for the advice. Okay, I've finally lost it. In other news, the book tour seems to be coming along and it seems I may have my first book signing/reading on May 5th! Of course, more details to come. But meanwhile, why not click here? Also - as you may have noticed, there have been major updates done to this site. Thanks so much to my pal Sarah for the extra bandwidth! Okay, gonna go now - gotta get ready to watch part 6 of season 2 of 24. Have I mentioned what an incredible show that is? It's got my man Keifer. And that Nina is back form Season One and.......yes, I've lost it. Indeed.

This is a solo picture of Tigi. Scooter's girlfriend. Scooter's asked that I post this. And to tell all of you not to put your dirty paws on her. That she's his Valentine. Even sent him a card! That is all!

As we're gearing up around here for the book's release, I just designed the first ad for Maximumrocknroll. Of course it's a total D.I.Y. thing, and I'm sending to to MRR today with the check to pay for the ad space. Meanwhile, my Amazon numbers are around the same, so if you haven't, order the dang book! You can now even order it at TARGET and WALLMART (we'll see how long this lasts!). Wow. In other news, we watched the whole first season of 24 and loved it so much we just ordered and got the second season. What a wonderful show. In video game news, I'm almost done with Mario and Luigi for the GBA and plan to get the new Metroid for the same machine very soon. Also have been futzing around with FireHammer for the PS2, Ratchett & Clank 2, some off-roading beta I got for the Xbox. Oh, happy almost valentines day!

As I mentioned five days ago, Scooter has a new girlfriend. Tigi. Above is a photo taken by Dylan of them barking at one another. A couple of days ago they played for hours non-stop. Now, suddenly, Scooter has all his puppy energy back and is ruling the household with an iron paw. And what does the little dictator want? Click HERE to find out! To hear what he has to say, click HERE.

As the book publishing date gets closer and closer, it's getting exciting around here. But before I get to that, a quick reminder to PLEASE pre-order by clicking here. I'm trying like hell to drive up those Amazon numbers as well as ones at Barnes & Noble, etc. But Amazon is the cheapest. Also, should people like Dr. Phil really have bestsellers? It's time to take over the publishing business like punk took over the mainstream. For good or bad - it's time people got a taste of what's really going on in the world. That's also why I love Soft Skull so much. Anyway, Scooter met this hot chick over the weekend named Tigi. I think they're in love. They both layed on the carpet facing one another and just barked and barked. Then, in typical Tabb fashion, Scooter went for it with her. But I had to pull him off. I mean, hell, she's only 4 months old. Maybe after two years. Then she'll be over 14 in dog years. Old enough in some states, and the age of being used up down south. Also went to The Emerald Saturday night, then went to a cool party at the Black & Tan. Phoenix is fun. I just gotta stop being cranky and frustrated from playing Mario & Luigi on the Gameboy Advance. Speaking of which, Nintendo is coming out the a GameBoy DS. Double Screen. Interesting. As with The Xbox, and everything else, I'm sure it's a wolf in sheep's clothing. A portable teleconforencing device to be sure. Anyway, order the dang book, Please? There's a nice new picture of it up at Amazon now!

What ever happened to Fay Wray?
Actually, been spending TOO much time listening to The Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack, as well as the Roxy stage version and the newish Austrailian stage version as well as the New York City recent cast version. Then, to top it off, I got Eddie Migrane's Rocky Horror Punk Show CD, which is totally a blast. How someone could turn "I'm Going Home" into "Betty Crocker, Punk Rocker", which is really just a Ramones song, anyway, is beyond me. Amazing! Been home in Phoenix (almost wrote NYC, doh) for about a week now. It's warmish and my balls aren't frozen to the size of peas. Petite peas. Editing the book once again this weekend, and just about done with this draft. Off it goes tommorow, then we wait for the next one! In the meanwhile, PLEASE order it if you already haven't. I'm trying to get as many pre-orders as possible, not just for the reasons listed below, but also because AMAZON ranks book sales Order HERE!. One day I was number 180,000. Another I was 6,000! It's incredible. I wanna show the world ya don't need the big corportate names to sell stuff. Just a good product and a D.I.Y. attitude!

Big News! The book galleys are almost ready and, Houston, we have mock-up cover art! Woo Hoo! You can read all the info about the book you want here. Also, don't forget to click on the pre-order button at the bottom of that page for Amazon. Please! Pre-Order it! The more orders they get,the more they print up, the slower they run out! Also, I'll be doing a book tour and all that later this year - but my goal right now is to get a TON of pre-orders to Amazon. Tell you what - if you pre-order - I'll give you a free Furious George Record! If I run out of those...other free stuff! Just email me your order conformation number or whatever the fuck it is from Amazon. In other news...just got back from New York City where it was One below Zero. Mmmmm....toasty! Lots more news very soon. And I don't care what you say about RPGs, Mario & Luigi is so hard for the GBA!

It's part of our whirl-wind East Coast tour - so come out and see us! In other news - the galleys for the book sshould be done very soon. Oh, and if ya wanna hang out with me while I'm in NYC...just call me or email me. Also - new pages to the website coming very soon including links, fun things, and much more!

Super Monkey Ball Jr. is driving me ape! I'm going banannas! It's making a monkey out of me. Its...you get the idea. Okay, last night I hung with Brian at the Emerald Lounge before heading over to The Motherfucker of Phoenix, Hot Pink! What a party. All that was missing was the transvestites. Lots of hot girls making out. Anyway, it's every Friday at a place on 17th and McDowell, near some seedy strip bar that looks so gross I wouldn't even go in there! Oh, two new jokes I got from the New Year's Jokes above. Thanks to Kordell and my buddy Sean!
What do you call a Jamaician gynocologist?

What kind of bee produces milk?

Wow! Made it into another New Year - and this time, in Phoenix! As you can see from the photo above, we had a very exciting New Year's Eve around the Tabb household. Although, we think we heard one idiot fire his gun into the air around midnite. Woo Hoo. Anyway, here's to hoping everyone had a great New Years and that everyone gets all their wishes! Oh - a joke for the new year!
What do you call cheese that's not your own?
Nacho Cheese!
